VELUX INTEGRA® Passive House roof window GGU --82 is solar-powered and centre-pivoted. It is an all-in-one window equipped with a rain sensor and is based on the design of extra sound reduction roof window GGU --62.
There is no ventilation flap and inside, a secondary double-glazed unit has been installed. Frame and sash are made of polyurethane moulded around a core of thermally modified timber with a finish of white lacquer. The exterior of frame and sash is metal-clad and therefore maintenance-free.
The solar cell with integrated rain sensor is fitted to the window top cover. The window is equipped with two insulating glass units, a double-glazed and a triple-glazed unit.
The VELUX INTEGRA® solar Passive House roof window GGU is certified in Class A for Passive House building constructions in cold climate regions.
Consisting of an outer triple glazing combined with additional inner double glazing, the window offers ultra low energy consumption, with a U-value of just 0.51 W/(m2K).
